I love how the rust piles up on steel items that are just left out in the elements. It's a waste of money but sure makes for some nice images.

I'm trying to pull myself out of a creative slump. Nothing I see makes me want to photograph these days.

Much Needed Vacation. Part 11. Yuma.

We spent 4 days in Yuma where we stayed at an RV park. Most of the units there are Park Model trailers that are basically a small mobile home. It was hot and dry. I miss it considering it snowed 8 inches here yesterday!

We spent time at the dunes just west of Yuma in California. Everywhere you looked away from the highway all you could see was sand. And mighty warm too.

On our way to Yuma we stopped in the mountains to take some photos of the boulders on the mountain top.

Much Needed Vacation. Part 9. Time At The Beach.

Before heading to Yuma, we spent a couple of hours at the beach in San Diego. This got us to thinking about a beach vacation somewhere warm for a week. We are planning it for a couple of years from now. The kids loved the sand, surf and of course the shells.

We hit Sea World as well. This was an even better time than the zoo!

Much Needed Vacation. Part 7. San Diego Zoo.

We spent a day at the San Diego Zoo. I was there as a kid but I sure don't remember all those hills! It's a great zoo but it really doesn't have much on the Calgary Zoo which is only 3 hours away from my house! Still I couldn't imagine going to San Diego and not going to the zoo.

We spent the afternoon at Legoland on our way to San Diego. The kids had a lot of fun and yes, I did too!
