Here is a photo of how my day started. The tire had absolutely no pressure in it this morning. Out came the compressor and filled it up. By the time I got to work, it was down to 15 lbs. So, now at lunch it's coming off, the spare goes on and off to the tire shop I go. I hope the rest of the day is better.

I had the pleasure today of taking photos for the 2009 Alberta Ride For Sight. A charitable organization that organizes bike enthusiasts for a ride to Olds Alberta. Being in Edmonton we went south. It was a lot of fun. I took my son along for the long day of driving mixed with video and photography.
This is a portrait of Jason. He organized the route for the ride from Edmonton to Olds and asked me almost a year ago if I would be interested in photographing it. Of course I said yes. The set of photos I did can be found here.

Furry Orange Vistor.
We had a visit from a cat yesterday that put the kids into a frenzy. This is their first experience with a cat. We just don't have many in our area. This one was very friendly indeed. Purring the whole time. She stayed for about 1/2 hour then moved on. I'm sure she will be back.

About the photo: Not much to tell with this one. I noticed the balloon on my way into work today. I rushed up to my office hoping to get to the roof before it past the building. I made it and took several shots as it came by. I wish it would have come closer though.
