Peaceful Morning Coffee

It's nice when everyone sleeps in and lets me have a peaceful morning to reflect and catch up on some blog reading. The only one bugging me this morning was the dog!

Foggy Morning Drive

In keeping with my plans for motivation, I had my camera on the seat beside me on the drive to work this morning. It was quite foggy and I took several shots from the window while I was sitting at the red lights. This one was my favorite. I love the color gradations in the sunrise and the fog lying low. It was a nice drive and being on the look out for photo opps helped me to appreciate the drive all the more.

The kids planted sunflower seeds today. We put them on the window sill to get plenty of light until they are ready to transplant to the garden. Should be fun for them to watch the flowers grow.

We went to Fatburger for dinner today. It was really good! I think I found my new favorite burger joint. Even the kids pigged out.

The boy and I cleaned up his room today. Ok, I cleaned and he pulled more out for me to pick up again. I've taken this photo of the center of his room so he may see what it should look like all the time. LOL. We will see how long it lasts.

Well look at at that. 12°C today. Everything is melting like crazy now. Finally. The worst part is the mess in the yard. Don't let the poor representation in the photo fool you. Those ruts are 6 to 8 inches deep already. I'm not even sure what color my boots are supposed to be. LOL.

The scrap yard across the road from us has at least one fire a month. this one was bigger than most. 3 fire trucks came and took quite a while to get it under control.

I'm not sure what was burning this time but It's usually old fuel tanks.
