More Jasper - Athabasca Falls.

Athabasca Falls in the spring or late fall is a mix of running water and frozen falls. It's amazing to see the falls frozen in place as if time has stopped. Then from behind them you hear the water running and out from the bottom it comes.

Frozen in time. At the bottom of the frame you can see the water emerging from behind the frozen falls.

The stairway down to the lower canyon was extremely icy.

Then the path to the second stair case was almost impassable. I decided not to venture down.

To be continued.
