I decided to take the snow off the garage roof today. It's melting and dripping all over the sidewalk. It's a good thing too. It was much deeper than I thought on the roof.
Two feet! Some spots were a little deeper too. It took me an hour to shovel it off then another hour to snowblow the mess off the sidewalks! I'm not going up another floor to the roof of the house though. It's pretty steep and besides, it doesn't look very deep up there. The garage is sheltered from the winds by the house so it piles up there more.
