I collect sand from far away places that I've never been. People bring me little samples all the time. I have from as far away as New Zeland.
But I think this one is my most exotic sample. It's from the Florida Keys. Sure that's not so far away or all that exotic but, this sand is from 25 feet under the ocean. A friend tested for his open water scuba ticket there and thought of me when he was at the bottom. Such a good friend.
